It was not to be. Shirley Fitzpatrick-Wong lost to two of the 3 teams in her section who will be advancing to the playoffs on final RR day. Set play is quick and decisive and leaves scant room for slips or comebacks.
Her final stats are: Finish 11th, Win 5 Lose 7, Sets Win 9.0 - Sets Lose 15.0.
Six of the 12 matches were decided by tie breakers.
Jeff Harding didn't have the success he would wish in his trip back to his native land.
His final record was: Finish 11th, Win 2 Lose 10, Sets Win 5.5 - Sets Lose 18.5.

Thursday, November 28 8:00 AM
Last day of Round Robin and it is top 3 or pack your bags. Jeff has pulled them out of the closet but Shirley still has one of those ' win 2 today and get lots of help' chances to grab the third spot in her section.
Fitzpatrick-Wong is on a 4 game winning streak including a dandy 2-1 tie breaker victory over 2nd place England yesterday.
Netherlands 6 - 4
Israel 6-4
Canada 5-5
Shirley plays both. Israel play the England and Netherlands finish with Zimbabwe. The latter game is the upset that is lowest on the probability charts.

RAIN All week and into the next predicted for Christchurch. Greens may be better for surfing.
Caused a suspension of play on opening day.
