FORE FOR FOURS ONTARIO 2013 DISTRICTS

Monday, May 27
The rosters are completed from weekend District play. Now to fill out the full draw, two more teams from the Women's division will be added. I wasn't tracking the entries in detail but I do have scattered knowledge and will hazard a guess that District 5 will again lead the pack in the women with their 5 at the start. From the OLBA 2013 Conditions of Play, " the runner-up team from the District with the highest number of entries in the District Playdowns" will fill the bye. The second team will be, " the runner-up team from the District with the second highest number of entries". I don't know who is in the running in that regard but 3 entries might give you a chance. Besides the two 'No Entry' there were at least 5 other Districts with' One Entry'. The bookkeeping and advisement becomes even more important this year with the compressed schedule. No rest for either the players or the Championship Committee.

Just can't stay away.
I've been itching to bowl, did that.
I've been wanting to see all the good friends that always wander away in the winter, partially checked off.
And now Mary White sends me a note and tells me to get at it.
Well actually not like that but with kindness and consideration to see if the the blog fire is still smoldering.
Just like you my passion for this game hasn't wavered and my desire to know if it is ' something new, something old ' swells to action as the yearly Districts hit the greens.
Remember - Unofficial -as I beat the bushes to find the pursuers of fame and fortune. Well, a little fame
as your name will be big and bold but don't get excited about the fortune thing.
