That title looks like a three day- hangover. That isn't the reason but it is a bubbly event for the distaff side. The very popular Ladies 3 Day completed its 24th annual long weekend tournament with another 'sold out' entry list. Hanover was the location this year as the ladies moved through Pairs, Fours and Singles to complete another successful gathering.
Bowler of the Tournament - LAURA HAWRYSZKO
First in Pairs with Susan Smith ( 3 wins ), Third in Fours with Smith, Laura Seed, Heather Comba ( 3 wins ) and 2 wins in Singles.
This young bowler has been a force this summer. Leading for Susan Smith in the Provincial Pairs, Laura was an important contributor in that team rolling to a silver medal.
2nd - Joyce Kruss , 3rd Laura Seed. [ Both Joyce and Laura Seed also won 8 of 9 games over the 3 days. It took the tiebreaker to unscramble the dandy results of the top three.]
More results later
Competitive lawn bowling mixed with a twist of life. A skilled exciting game hidden from the masses by its image. Often only takes one roll-up to leave you wondering why you waited.
My Ponder List
